Elastomeric Pump

The Elaspump is an elastomeric infusion pump produced according to the utmost modern standard of safety and reliability. It is DEHP free, to assure the maximum biocompatibility of the device.

The Elaspump has been designed to satisfy all the requirements where the accurate infusion of the medication is needed, such as the infusion of chemotherapeutic drugs or pain therapy drugs.

• Silicon elastomer contained in a sealed casing, rigid and transparent in order to avoid accidental leaks and allows inspections from the outside
• Strap to enable the patient to carry it comfortably, the strap can be removed easily in order to facilitate the eventual refilling of the elastomeric pump under cover, avoiding to impregnate the material of the strap with the medication.
One way, closed circuit filling valve, with flat bottom to facilitate the loading of the elastomer with a common syringe
Once the elastomer is filled with the medication, the hydrophobic filter assembled on the male luer lock capsule allows the priming without removing the caps, in order to assure a greater internal sterility of the device until the actual use has happened
Particles in-line filter, avoids contamination
Removable slide clamp, so that it can be, when needed, easily taken out
Flexible tubular apparatus and anti-kinking, fitted with a distal connection luer lock type
Label with colour code and print out of the flow velocity in the immediate access to the patient, in order to be easily identifiable
Patient label for a simple personalization
Print out of all the variable data and the product code on the external casing as well as the pump body in order to assure a constant identification and traceability of the elastomeric pump.
Printed graduation scale to enable monitoring the infusion course.
Priming Purge filter that allows air removal during priming procedure and avoids fluid leakage.
Hard Blister packaging for better stability and avoids breakages.
